Around The NBA

101 Heat, 93 Pacers

LeBron James and Dwayne Wade we fantastic. They combined for 70 points, 27 rebounds and 15 assists for the Heat win. They at one point scored around 38 straight points for the Heat. Lebron as a whole had 40 points, 18 rebounds and 8 assists, huge game and exactly what the Heat needed after being down early. Dwayne led the charge for the Heat by going 11-11 on fg attempts between the 3-4th quarters. Udonis Haslem had a big game and hit the mid range jumpers in the 4th.

The Pacers had a chance to put them away and didn't. Also, knee jerk Media who is getting carried away with LeBron's great performance. It was a great performance and you can't take that away from him, however, Wade an LeBron need to have these games every game in order to make it past the Pacers.

102 San Antonio, 99 Clippers

The Spurs may be the best team in the NBA and just look flat out unbeatable. Everything is clicking for them and they are just a perfect team. As for "Lob City" hahahahhahaha. I am so glad that smoke and mirrors, overrated team is out. I hate them more than any other team in the playoffs. CP3 had a good final game but severely underwhelmed throughout the series. The Spurs made him look like a non factor out there.

Around The NBA

94 Pacers, 74 Heat
Miami is in big trouble. They are down 2-1 to the Pacers and the next game is at Indiana. The Pacers absolutely throttled the Heat and have been on a tear. Not to look ahead, but I almost rather face the Heat with Bosh, than the Pacers. The Pacers have a great center in Roy Hobbert, who swallowed the Heat last night with 19 points, 18 boards and 5 blocks. The Heat had no answer for him and for David West. The Heat just have nothing left. Unless Lebron and Dwayne Wade score 90 points combined they have no shot. LeBron didn't stink up the joint as much as Dwayne Wade. Wade was non existent he shot 2-13 and had 5 points. The most he did during this game is get into it with Erik Spoelstra. There have already been Wade/Bosh for Howard rumors this morning.

I also found this funny:

105 Spurs, 88 Clippers

The guy they say is the best point guard in the game Chris Paul has been flat out awful this series. He has had a total of 16 points and last night he had 10 points, 5 assists and 8 turnovers. When was the last time you saw our guy in Boston have a game like that......... never. The Spurs look unbeatable, everyone on that team is good. Forget their big 3, the team is complete. And other teams throwaways in Boris Diaw, Danny Green and Stephen Jackson fit in Greg Popovich's scheme perfectly. The Spurs could win the Championship easily.

2012 Top 25 Under 25: #8 Blake Griffin

Born: March 16, 1989 (age 23)
Team: LA Clippers
Position: PF

There was so much love for Blake Griffin last year, that the inevitable happened and everyone seems to hate him more and more now. Some of it is Sportscenter's fault, some of it is his faking injuries/flopping, but when you make a top 25 under 25 list this guy has to be on it.

In his two years in the NBA Blake Griffin has turned around a franchise and a fan base (yes, some it Paul too). In those two year he has averaged 21.7 ppg, 11.5 rebs, and 3.5 assists. He already has an NBA Rookie of the Year under his belt and is a 2 time All-Star and a Slam Dunk champion. He is one of the two reasons the Clippers are in the playoffs this year.

There are some negatives in his game (defense), but I think when we talk about talent Griffin is near the top, especially in an era that really doesn't have a lot of big men. Griffin is just 23 years old, and if he progresses in his all around game he could be the best power forward in the game.
