Grizzlies Shopping Rudy Gay?

"The Memphis Grizzlies will have major tax issues the next few seasons unless one of their high-priced players is traded. According to Hoopsworld, that player could be Rudy Gay. Gay was once not available, however that may have changed after his poor showing in the playoff series against the Clippers (ESPN).

Gay has 3 years and about $53.6 million remaining on his contract, but is still just 25 years old. Right now the Nets, Golden State, Orlando and Toronto are be rumored as possible destinations. I would love to hear the Celtics name in this. I know it's the playoffs, so I am not going to get heavily into this now, but I have been saying for 3 years I want Rudy Gay on the Celtics. I think he could take his game to an even higher level playing with Rondo.

Around The NBA

To my dismay, The Clippers advance after they beat Memphis at home 82 to 72. I thought this game was going to be a lot more exciting than it was, but it seemed as if the Grizzlies just choked. They had ample opportunities with the Clippers lack of execution, but the Grizzlies had no set plays to get anyone open, complete street ball offense. Something to look at Blake Griffin sat in the 4th to let Reggie Evans and Kenyon Martin play. The Clippers bench was great, they had 40 points.

Now they take on the San Antonio Spurs and will lose in 5.

95 Miami, 86 Pacers

The Pacers had it. And they even had the lead up until the end of the 3rd quarter. Then Miami and LeBron/ DWade took over the game. LeBron matched the Pacers in the 4th quarter with 16 points. LeBron had 32 and 15 rebounds and DWade had 29.

Chris Bosh left the game with an injury and it's an ab strain and I believe he will be out for the series. The Pacers need to stay composed late in games if they want any chance.
