Heat @ Celtics Preview
The Heat have just announced that Lebron, Wade, and Bosh will all sit. The Celtics are sitting Ray, Stiemer, and Pietrus. Rondo is a game time decision, but I am doubting he will play.
The good news here is the Celtics should win this game, and it could be mildly important. The Celtics are going to play the Hawks in the first round, but who will get home court is still up in the air. The Hawks are one game up with 2 games left, so the window is still open here to sneak in steal home court.
One would think with Pierce, KG, and Bass all playing that it would be enough to beat the Heats' scrubs even without Rondo. I am not too worried about Rondo's injury, and I think Pietrus will be fine as well. The one I am worried about is Ray Allen. He has bone spurs in his ankle. Those don't go away without surgery, and even if the swelling goes down, the second he starts to push it again those spurs are going to flair that ankle up. I am really hoping I am wrong, but I don't see him being able to play too much in the playoffs. REALLY HOPING I AM WRONG.
For now, the Celtics have to focus on the task at hand. I think they kill this team tonight.
Celtics win 108-91
Tommy Award: Paul Pierce
