More Bad News About Carl Crawford
Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford is going to see Dr. James Andrews to have the soreness in his left elbow checked out. If you know anything about baseball you know that this is almost never good news.
Crawford already had offseason wrist surgery, and the earliest projection for his return was the beginning of May. Now with whatever this injury is he is out indefinitely. What's really scary is Bobby V is saying he is going for a "2nd opinion". Makes you wonder what they found in the first opinion. I am just praying it's not Tommy John, because that would be the season.
Sources say that it doesn't bother him while hitting, and that his wrist seems to be good, but he can't throw a baseball right now. With Ortiz being the full time DH, there is just no use for Crawford is he can't play the field.
