The Philadelphia Eagles have been shopping former Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel around the league before next week's draft, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Eagles have a lot of money in their defensive backfield, so this makes sense. Samuel is set to make $9.9 million this season, and while that does seem like a lot he has led the NFC in interceptions in 2 of the last 3 years.
I always like Asante, sure he only cares about getting paid, and doesn't tackle all that much, but the guy does seem to come up with some huge picks. I have to admit that I am kind of surpised he is still only 31 years old. I bet someone jumps and trades for him.
