Dr. James Andrews is synonymous with Tommy John surgery and with Carl Crawford visiting him, that probably means Tommy John is in the not so distant future. This would blow, because I talked to my uncle the other day and he wasn't worried about the Sox because he said the Sox are getting 2 really big players for nothing in Dice K and Crawford soon, and that should help. I started to believe that too, until this came out.
If Crawford gets Tommy John then we would have a lot of payroll on the DL due to that in Lackey, Carl and Dice K.
I've been ignoring this whole Crawford situation, but this certainly sucks.
