Bucs Trade Winslow To Seahawks
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded tight end Kellen Winslow to the Seattle Seahawks for a draft pick on Monday night and signed former Colts star Dallas Clark to replace him.
The pick is a a conditional 2013 draft pick, which will either be a 6th or 7th round pick. I like this deal for the Seahawks, they really aren't giving up much and Winslow will be a nice addition for this offense. Winslow had 75 receptions for 763 yards and two TDs in 2011. He does have some bad knees, but he is worth the risk, and he will be teaming up with Zach Miller, which should give the Seahawks a lot of options.
Clark is a decent replacemnet if he can stay healthy. He should add some leadership to a team that really it needs it this year, after a terrible 2011 season. Clark was limited by injuries to 11 games, Clark had 34 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns.
