I was talking to my uncle who lives in New Orleans yesterday and he told me about the Times Picayune (their news paper) and how they had major cutbacks and only going to the paper 3 days a week.
It sucks, but this is going to happen to every newspaper in the country sooner than later. I personally haven't read a newspaper in forever, I don't think I've ever bought a newspaper in my life and the only time I will read it is when someone leaves it over in a train. I get all my news from TV and the internet and I feel a majority of people do the same. It was the first eye opening event that happened to realize that is the era we are going to. It probably won't happen for a while here, but I guarantee the globe and herald will eventually adopt the 3 day a week newspaper.
