Larry Bird Named Executive Of The Year
Bird was voted the NBA's Executive of the Year on Wednesday, becoming the first person to be named the league's top executive, coach and MVP.
That's incredible, and good for Bird. In a world where so many great players comeback to the league as a coach/executive only to bury a team (Thomas/Jordan) Bird has been one of the best in everything he does. He has built a hell of a roster with the Pacers that are young and deep. They don't have a "star", but I think that maybe should even give him more credit. He knew what pieces would work together, and now the Pacers are a team that could knock the Heat out of the playoffs.
