I didn't fill my water cup before the game because I had to go to the Sox game and this happens.
The fact it ended an 8 point game is impressive the way the Knicks shot the ball.
The Knicks were 19 of 32 from deep. Steve Fucking Novak and JR Smith were unstoppable shooting knocking down 15 of 20 from deep. The Celtics did all they could but could never really get the score below 10 with the way the Knicks were shooting.
As much as I hate Carmelo Anthony he played a great game and had a triple double with 35 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists. Even though his off hand is used to stiff arm defenders almost every possession.
Pierce had a great game in trying to will them back 43 points, 11-19 FG and Rondo had 13 points, 13 assists but fell hard on his back at the end of the 3rd and looked very stiff in the back. He says he's fine, but I may sit him if I was Doc just to make sure he's alright for the greater good.
The Celtics bench contributed 2 points Keyon Dooling. Ray Allen and Mickael Pietrus would have helped. It's reported that Pietrus returned to Boston to have his knee drained and would likely miss Wednesday's game vs Orlando. Sucks
