Looks Like Johnny Damon Found A Home

"The Indians will sign Johnny Damon, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. The deal would include a full no-trade clause and allow Damon to opt-out on a specified date after Grady Sizemore returns (MLBTradeRumors)."

It has to be noted that no deal is final yet, so this could somehow not happen. If it does though, I think it's a nice pickup for the Indians. Damon hit .261 with 16 homers 73 RBIs and 19 steals last season for the Rays, so is a very nice stop-gap option for the Indians while they wait once again for Sizemore. I was pretty surprised that no one signed Damon this offseason. I mean those are pretty good numbers, and there are so many teams that could use a guy like this that I was just surprised.

Damon is just 277 hits away from 3,000 for his career.
