The Tigers say Victor Martinez does not need reconstructive surgery for his ACL. This is actually big news as it was thought he was going to need a 2nd surgery on his knee. Now, this doesn't definitely mean he can make it back at some point this season, but for the first time since his injury there is hope he might actually make his way back. If he was to make it back it wouldn't be until September, and even that isn't all that likely, but the thought would have to have Tigers' fan giddy. Their team looks so good right now and adding VMart to that lineup would only help.
